Our Story continued..
I moved away, living in Sioux Falls, then Sheldon Iowa, then I went to college in Lincoln, Nebraska, then moved to Kansas City. Meanwhile David was also traveling all over for his job.
I had several times seriously considered moving back to my home town. I used to have to call David's dad's place to leave a message so David could call me back. As he was always on the road, never having his own phone, and I could never get a hold of him. If so we may of gotten together a lot sooner.
Eventually though, on a whim, I bought an RV and took my business on the road. My intention was to swing through Milbank for a month... but then, my truck broke down, leaving me stranded there for a summer, and I started seeing David.
David sincerely impressed me, with his whitty charm and personality that I always knew he had... but also because he instantly gave up his night life and stopped any and all of his bad habits without me even having to ask him to.  |
